Aqua Data Studio 7.5 updates our world-class database development environment, replacing tens of proprietary tools with a single consistent interface that can manage all major database environments simultaneously. In Aqua Data Studio 7.5, we’ve included many of our most-requested features and enhancements in order to handle the requirements of our diverse user base. Most exciting of all, we’ve created even more chart features for the chart toolkit in the Grids and Pivot Grids.

Memory Optimizations

Reduced Memory Footprint – now, Aqua Data Studio uses less memory(30% to 40% less) than previous versions at startup and when retrieving results of more than 65,000 rows. Learn more »

New & Enhanced Editors

New Java and JavaScript Editors – edit JavaScript and Java with syntax highlighting and all of the other features you get from Aqua Data Studio's HTML, SQL, XML and text editors. Learn more »

Enhanced clipboard, Bookmarks, Find and Replace allow you to copy source code and keep its syntax highlighting, navigate through documents with user-defined bookmarks, as well as find and replace with escape characters. Learn more »

New charting tools have been added to include more features developers and analysts need. You now have more control when manipulating the visualization of data including Clustered Column Charts, Stacked Column Charts, Clustered Bar Charts, Stacked Bar Charts and Stacked Line Charts. Subversion 1.5 Support

Subversion (SVN) 1.5 support is built into Aqua Data Studio 7.5, and ready for use with your preexisting Subversion 1.5 installations. We've even included a Relocate feature. Learn more »

File Search Tool

We’ve added a powerful new File Search Tool into Aqua Data Studio 7.5 for use with your scripts directory and version control repositories. Use it to find, sort and filter files by their content, filename and more. You can include/exclude file types in your search and even search with regular expressions. Learn more »

Visual Editing Enhancements

ER Modeler Enhancements

The Entity-Relationship (ER) Modeler that is as powerful as even the best standalone database diagramming tools, now allows objects within an ER Model to be renamed. Relationship connectors can be rerouted within diagrams. Learn more »

DBA Tools Enhancements

The Storage Manager has been greatly enhanced for Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase and MySQL for tuning and monitoring of database storage. ADS 7.5 has enhanced views for Database Size, Table Size and Index Size. Now, DBAs can quickly visually evaluate storage issues for database tuning and performance enhancement.

The DBA Tools now allow you to save column positioning and width, keep filter settings between refreshes and quickly reconnect with the new reconnect button.  Learn more »
